The Final Touch

"Using the new DAW is allowing us to do things that were previously unthinkable: an incredible sound dynamic, undeniable purity, a separation of sounds that I would define as three-dimensional. Fenice won’t sound like any commercial record, no matter how well-recorded; Fenice will sound exactly as we want it to, as a record made with care and without sparing any energy or resources should sound. We promised the highest quality and we are keeping that promise—we are proud of it. We succeeded where we didn't think it was possible to reach, and we did it with real passion. Raising the recording and playback standard this high was a remarkable challenge, for the machines and for us; we put a lot of effort into achieving this result, but we made it happen in a big way. The new track is now ready and the final mix will be done next week, but the tracks are already consolidated—it just needs the final touch, then we’ll move on to a new piece. As we have repeated ad nauseam, our music is not for everyone (and we don't want it to be), but those who listen to the genre will find what they are looking for; for an attentive listener, it will be pure pleasure, and if they have the courage to go further, the music will also be true emotion.
