Another consolidated track

We are moving closer and closer to the completion of this work, a new track has reached the maturity to begin the multitrack sessions, it will certainly undergo further changes before reaching its final form, but it is mature, it is solid, and it drives us inexorably forward, we have set November as the deadline for the album, and we hope to maintain this goal, the premises to succeed are there, we will see to it that we make it happen. One thing is certain: the album will be completed, this work is extremely important to all of us, regardless of whether we sell a few copies or none, whether we manage to play somewhere or not, it does not matter, this is expressive and creative necessity, not the market, if we wanted mediocre and distracted listening we would have made pop or something else, not psychedelia, not electronics, and not rock. Better a few but good, than many and terrible, ours is listening music, often difficult and experimental, definitely not for everyone, and just as definitely, it is not made to be simply consumed like candy or given away to just anyone, is it pretentious? Yes, perhaps, but we don’t care, this is who we are, is it arrogant? There is only one answer to that: who cares! We do not have to bow to market compromises, we do not have to justify our timing, and above all, we do not have anyone with a pitchfork behind our backs prodding us. Ours is not a product, ours is a study of sound, it is an expression of creative freedom, we can afford to do it and so we do, we have over twenty years of history behind us and we have never cared about the market, we have never cared about labels, not least because the few contacts we did have proved to be unprofessional and unreliable, we have our own structure, our own capacity to produce and distribute, and we have no need for any parasite, we prefer direct contact with the audience and if anyone wants this work, all they have to do is ask, otherwise, that is fine too, we will keep it for ourselves, we will continue to exist anyway, in defiance of the algorithms, of distracted viewing, and of the hit-and-run listening of mediocrity
