Status Report

We continue our march, slow but inexorable. We have finalized the definitive mix for the fifth track and officially begun recording the sixth. With the remaining tracks currently being written, and considering that each recorded piece is sealed by its final mix, I would say we are at a solid 60% of the work completed.

The target for the release of the full album is late November 2026. We hope to stay on this course, but we cannot guarantee a specific date; creative flows, by their very nature, are not and cannot be stable. There is also the roughing-out and refinement phase to consider; while relatively quick, it still demands its necessary time to ensure the final result is never compromised.

Freedom and Intent

We are fortunate to have no contractual constraints, allowing us to manage the work at Galactica with total peace of mind. This is the only way to provide that final quality we care so deeply about. FENICE has a genesis all its own, a path woven directly into our lives; this is the primary reason we proceed slowly. Behind every track, there is a philosophy and a well-defined intent that must be translated into music.

Having our own studio means there are no assigned time slots; we have the freedom to perform tests and experiments without having to worry about the budget. While one track is reaching completion, new ideas are already being put into the pipeline, ready to move through definition and refinement toward the final mix. Everything happens with maximum tranquility and without anyone pressing from behind. What emerges is the perfect distillate of the story we want to tell.

The Technical Challenge: Infinite Dynamics

The technical side is the pillar upon which everything else rests. Our current technological standards guarantee an almost absolute quality and excellent sound clarity. Through a meticulously crafted signal chain—in both digital and analog paths—we have managed to achieve a noise floor of practically zero and a substantially infinite dynamics.

For a private studio, this is a remarkable achievement. It required study and, at times, was enough to drive us mad, but we did it. Providing a high-level listening experience is fundamental to us.
