Work on Fenice Continues
The work on Fenice continues. We have put a new piece in motion, one to be roughened out, refined, and certainly polished, but it is there. Amazing sounds and the new DAW that records them perfectly — we’ve made a rather significant and unexpected qualitative leap. Yesterday’s rehearsal started off a bit slowly, but then we got back on track. After all, GALACTICA is designed precisely to make the creative process stress-free: no rush and no anxiety. The new DAW is extremely faithful, a little complex perhaps, but everything is a matter of habit. Little by little, you learn to bring out the best, just as we have done in the past. We can create in complete peace, nobody bothers us, and there is no shortage of good spirits and laughter. But when we play, concentration is palpable in the air, together with the magic of the sound we create. I still do not know how this idea will eventually emerge from this draft, but the material is there, the sounds are there, the piece flows, and we will see what our insane minds will design as it develops, because as always everything changes, so we’ll see...
