Fenice: Self-Production, Emotion and Rebirth

Very soon, pre-listening tracks will be available on several platforms, including a pre-order option once the album is finished. Distribution will be handled directly by us, and the reason is very simple: we want to deliver a high-quality, completely handmade product. There is also another important reason: relying on a production company (assuming someone is willing to produce us) would mean making compromises, and we do not make compromises, especially when they are tied to market demands. This is both our strength and our weakness, an extremely brave and perhaps even counterproductive choice, but it is what we are: salmon swimming against the current, just as our music and our way of life go against the current. We want to give those who listen to us emotions, not market trends. We see music as a vehicle for emotion and feeling, an expression of our being and existence, a sharing of our sensations and our souls, without filters and without barriers. We like having an audience that is involved in our way of making music; we are not interested in numbers or trends, but in genuine people who can savor our emotions and share them with us. So, the choice to self-produce and do everything in-house is natural, precisely to deliver that kind of product that only artisanal and meticulous care can create. As you know, Fenice is closely tied to Xeno’s rebirth, so beyond the music it contains a human journey made of resilience and courage, which today turns into music. We hope you will like it and, why not, that it may also help you understand the moods and feelings that accompanied the creation of this work. Final note: the album will be distributed on USB drives and through specialized platforms. Each USB drive will feature a laser engraving of the cover on one side and the track list on the other, and each drive will have a unique serial number to make the object as personal as possible
