Fenice: Our Journey Takes Shape

Well, the recording of Fenice is finished. We now have the definitive “piece,” handcrafted in our studio. We put in all our attention, all our knowledge, all our musical taste, and all our commitment. We created it — after all, isn’t that what musicians are supposed to do? Fenice has been nurtured and cherished by all of us, just like every track we produce. It is one of the pieces of the new concept work that shares the same title and that, in our intention, aims to guide the listener through a journey made of sounds, vibrations and emotions. Will we succeed? We hope so. Meanwhile, the work continues tirelessly, while ideas focus and take shape, waiting for the rough-cutting and refining that we carry out all together. The chemistry, mutual understanding, but above all the friendship that binds us in this new journey, are the very essence of our work. Fenice will be a different album, more mature, more complete, with sounds that are sometimes ethereal, sometimes powerful, and sometimes even sharp. It will be the story of a life experience, one that we will not describe with words but only with music. It will be difficult, but we do not give up in the face of challenges; we never have, and we will not do so now. The desire to play our music is visibly present in all of us. It is the choice we made since we were born as a band, the choice that remains despite having lost precious members, and yet, despite everything, we have survived, because we firmly believe in what we do. We believe we still have things to say and to do, and we do it through music. A three-piece lineup that manages to bring together exclusive sounds and build songs with a unique sonic identity. Will we see the light? Who knows... maybe. But in any case, we will leave behind a trace of our passage, small, infinitesimal, but it will remain, and one day someone will hear it and perhaps a smile of pleasure will appear on their face. That would be a great reward for us....
